PharmaSIG Members,
As addressed in our October 2009 Newsletter and subsequent
|membership email the Pharmaceutical SIG informed you that we are becoming a Community of Practice (CoP) under the new PMI Virtual Communities model in early 2010. Therefore, the SIG will be dissolved as we transition to a CoP.
As a CoP, we are no longer collecting dues effective Jan 1, 2010. Pharmaceutical SIG memberships are temporarily waived by PMI for all PMI members to introduce the PMI membership to the Communities of Practice. As your Board of Directors, we have agreed to and endorse this arrangement.
If you have any questions or suggestions to keep you better
informed of our transition we'll be happy to answer them.
Join us in the Communities soon!
All the best,
Randy Dunson, Chair
Steve Kuprel, Past Chair
I often get lots of questions about how to report PDUs for our PharmaSIG Webinars. To help clarify the process, I developed a demo showing the steps you need to take. Take a look and if you still have problems or questions, contact me.

We provide a unique opportunity for project management professionals in the pharmaceutical, bio-tech, contract research, and medical device industries to network with and learn from one another. The Pharmaceutical SIG was organized in 1981, making it one of the oldest SIGs in the Project Management Institute.
